Resort World Las Vegas

GLOW ‘Neon Space’

Digital Kitchen joined forces with Resorts World Las Vegas to light up the Strip with ‘GLOW’, an immersive series of iconic films created for one of North America’s largest and most innovative hotels on the Strip in Las Vegas, US.

Taking over a massive 100,000-square-foot exterior display and a mesmerizing lobby globe, GLOW’s 5 shows ran day and night. The visual experience features a curated collection of five joyfully psychedelic short films that pay tribute to the surrealism and glamour of Vegas.

I had the blast of animating the 2D scenes illustrated by Emelie Muszczak for the ‘Neon Space’ short, collaborating with 3D artist Carlos Enciso to blend hand-drawn charm with immersive 3D cosmic environments. The short was split into 3 parts, starting off in a 2D world before blending into a psychedelic 3D scene and then back into 2D. Below is the showcase of the 2D scenes I worked on.

Go big or go home! I animated for four screens on this project, including a colossal 9k wide resolution installation across the resort’s front entrance. From the massive exterior displays to the enormous globe screen inside the mall, they all had their own challenges.
